Since we are now officially in the holiday shopping season I thought the blog post I just read, — If Newspapers Were Stores, Would Visitors Be “Worthless” Then? —  would be my early Christmas present to you.

The blog is in response to the huffing and puffing Rupert Murdoch and a few other old media stalwarts  have been doing lately. Murdoch is leading the dead tree rhetoric that the way to save newspapers is to hide newspaper websites from Google searches.

Hey, it’s his ball and Murdoch can do whatever he wants to do with his newspapers. However after reading, “If Newspapers Were Stores, Would Visitors Be “Worthless” Then?; then it just seems to me this effort to be de-Googled is nothing but a race to the finish line of the demise of newspapers.
